The Beaver-less pond?

So the other day I had a picnic with a friend at the pond and waited around through dusk and didn't see any beaver. the next day i walked around the perimiter of the pond and couldn't notice any beaver markings on the trees! Maybe the beaver has been removed / died/ moved to another pond or place? Nonetheless it is important to keep an eye out for the beaver!

no worries, we saw a beaver yesterday evening chewing on some low hanging twigs on the East side of the pond.

I have been an avid follower of the Beavers and probably have close to a thousand pictures of them. However, I haven't seen them the past two weeks and I'm concerned. They have brought such joy to my little boy and me the past year. I think they recognize us! I hope that if they need to move them they tell us where and definately not kill the cuties!

the beaver den was overgrown with weeds when we saw it on 9/7/10!!! I'm afraid it's gone!

I saw one of the smaller beavers last week? Has anyone seen the big one?
